As a general rule the property owner is responsible for the sewer pipes on their property up to the connection point, while Sydney Water is responsible for the main beyond it. We can inspect the line, confirm where the blockage sits and advise who is responsible before any work proceeds.
Yes. Tree roots are one of the most common causes of recurring blockages. We cut and clear roots with high-pressure jet rodding and mechanical tools, and CCTV the line afterwards to check the pipe condition and recommend a longer-term fix if the pipe is damaged.
